About Bustiers

bustier is a lingerie piece that is designed to uplift the bust area. They will typically fall to the ribcage or down to the waist.
Being that their main purpose is to push up a chest; the pressure falls on the lower rib area and uses that to press up against. These are often times compared to a corset; however, those have a whole separate meaning.
Today, many women wear a bustier as a way to enhance their bust features. Many women wear them under their clothing or outright when enticing their partner. They are not described as the most comfortable piece to wear but they are very appealing to those with a smaller and larger cup size alike.
As far as style is concerned, there are see through bustiers and peek a boo bustiers as well. Peek a boo is a term that is used when there is no material covering the bust area. When you hear the term bustier, it is describing that the breasts are exposed and there is support directly under the breasts. Bustiers have been seen worn under garments or used as outer garments.
A bustier can really satisfy anyone needs; they can add dimension to many different body types. It does not matter if you are tall or if you are short, they will still produce the same results. It is common for women with a small chest to use bustiers as a way to enhance themselves naturally in the bust line.
Bustiers should not be used if you are looking for tummy control. Many people often mistake them for this purpose. Bustiers were not designed for that specific use. They are not reinforced on the sides with wire; it is usually a mesh material that lines them for reinforcement instead.
Plus size women love the bustier because it enhances their chest size and draws attention upward rather than to any other place that might seem faulty. Bustiers for plus size women are a great idea, and many love it. Although a bustier does not flatten the tummy, it can help somewhat, but more favorably highlight the curves.
